Information you share
When you upload a CV or create a profile, JobfinderIQ uses that information to understand your experience, skills, and career goals, and to find and prioritize relevant job opportunities.
Your choices, such as preferred roles, locations, and work mode, are used to tailor the search to your preferences.
Storage
Without an account, drafts stay in the browser session, or for 7 days after the last edit if you enable device storage. The original CV is temporarily kept on this device for up to seven days, and removed after successful account transfer, when you clear the draft, or when expiry can be checked. A closed browser cannot perform cleanup. Saved jobs stay local until removed. Creating an account is optional. After verification, the current profile, original CV, CV versions, matches and saved jobs are automatically saved privately to your account so you can continue on another device. Existing account data is not overwritten without your choice. Historical ads may have closed. Account data stays until account deletion or an erasure request; backup copies follow the hosting provider retention cycle. Export and deletion are available in My account.
Automated analysis
JobfinderIQ uses automated analysis to interpret profile information and improve matching between your profile and available opportunities. Profile and CV content is processed by an AI provider when you use these features. Security logs may retain it for up to 30 days, or longer where required by law. Hosting, AI and analytics providers may process technical data and information outside the EU/EEA with applicable safeguards. Clearing a local draft does not erase provider logs.
Analytics
External aggregate analytics does not use cookies and receives no names, CV text, email addresses or permanent account IDs. Separately, account storage records a limited product history linked to your internal account ID to show saved work and understand completed steps. Client observations such as clicks are distinct from server-confirmed saves. No CV content is included in those events. Account history is included in account export and deletion.

When you continue to an employer or an external job platform, their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Why we process information
We process the information you provide to deliver the profile analysis, job search and CV support you request. The legal basis is performance of the service contract. Limited security and operational information supports our legitimate interest in protecting and operating the service. Usage statistics support our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the service, with limited data collection.
